The UEFA Champions League is European club football’s premier competition. The 2025-26 season runs the new 36-team Swiss-format league phase from September through January, followed by the knockout play-offs and rounds proper through to the final in late May or early June.
US broadcaster split, 2025-26
Paramount+ is the streaming home for the Champions League in the US. The bulk of matches across the eight-match league phase and the knockout rounds stream exclusively on Paramount+ with the Showtime tier.
CBS Sports Golazo Network is the linear home for the marquee match each matchweek (typically the Tuesday and Wednesday 3 PM ET window) plus the bigger knockout games and the final. CBS Sports Network handles overflow.
Univision and TUDN hold Spanish-language rights for selected matches.
Kickoff times for US viewers (Eastern Time)
The Europe-US time difference is roughly 6 hours behind during DST overlap. Standard Champions League windows in ET:
- Tuesday/Wednesday 12:45 PM ET: 18:45 CET (early window)
- Tuesday/Wednesday 3:00 PM ET: 21:00 CET (main window — the marquee match goes to CBS, the rest to Paramount+)
- Saturday in late May: the final, typically 3:00 PM ET kickoff in continental Europe
Knockout matches (round of 16 and onward) play two matches per week on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons ET. Paramount+ keeps replays available on-demand, which is the practical solution for viewers who cannot watch live during the workday.
